Lunenburg-based Salt Parlour uses custom labels to give each of their four small-batch potato chip flavours a distinct look without committing to large runs of fully printed packaging. The flexible setup lets founder Felicity Watson keep production manageable as Salt Parlour moves from local farmers’ markets toward retail.

REAL PROJECTS. REAL CLIENTS.
“The banners arrived a day early and looked incredible for our grand opening.”

CUSTOMER PROJECTS
Bulan
Bulan creates artwork inspired by their Indigenous Filipino heritage under the name Mankadavi. Little Rock printed the pieces for their first-ever market, giving Bulan a high-quality way to bring their artwork to customers for the first time.
Afrofresh
Calgary-based Afrofresh creates natural personal-care products inspired by African ingredients, culture, and connection to nature. Founder Eshetu Tekie uses product cards, business cards, signage, packaging, and other printed materials to tell that story clearly and create a consistent brand experience at markets and community events.
CeeJay Washburn
AUArts student CeeJay Washburn first sold handmade crafts at the Cochrane farmers’ market as a kid and always hoped to return to markets as an artist. Now, Little Rock helps CeeJay turn their work into professional prints and stickers as they take the first steps toward building an art business of their own.
Smilori
Calgary-based Smilori makes small-batch, nut-shaped butter cookies filled with smooth centres and packaged for sharing or gifting. Founder Andrii Khomenko uses custom labels, gift cards, and stickers to distinguish each flavour and give every order a polished, personal finish.
LOUD Art Society
Calgary nonprofit LOUD Art Society used custom posters to promote Kites in Motion, a series of free kite-making workshops that welcomed more than 225 participants. The posters helped draw families to the events and even survived an unexpected rainstorm, leaving the organization impressed enough to consider preserving them in its archive.
2nd Form Studio
Designer Lena de Waal created 2nd Form Studio to give discarded textiles a new purpose through handbags and apparel. For her first collection, Little Rock printed the hang tags, stickers, and postcards that helped turn a new idea and logo into a tangible brand ready to meet its first customers.
F Green Art
Kingston artist Faith Green launched F Green Art this year and brought Little Rock prints to her first major Art After Dark event in May. Offering reproductions alongside her original paintings lets Faith reach more customers, and she’s already preparing a larger print selection for upcoming art events and holiday markets.
Skinny Spa Inc
The Skinny Spa Inc. keeps locations in Calgary and Sherwood Park busy with regular promotions throughout the year. Little Rock supplies the flyers, pamphlets, inserts, banners, and other marketing materials they need, with local pickup and pay-at-pickup helping make frequent orders easier to manage.
Dare to Care
Calgary-based Dare to Care delivers evidence-based bullying prevention programs to schools and sports organizations across Canada. Little Rock provides the professional print materials they use to share program information with students, athletes, educators, and coaches, backed by the fast turnaround and communication their team relies on.
JKH Watercolour
Julie Heinrich started JKH Watercolour while living in an RV during COVID and looking for a productive outlet for her creativity. When two people wanted the same original painting, Little Rock prints gave her a way to share it more than once. That first order sold out within a month, and Julie now regularly turns her artwork into prints and greeting cards.
How to Design Info Cards That Sell for You
A stranger at a farmer’s or artisan’s market table might not know what tallow skincare is, what it does, or why it costs what it costs. That’s why Alice from Rose Creek Whipped Tallow created pricing and biography cards to answer both questions before she even has to say a word.
From Community Market to Calgary Expo: How One Author Built a Pro Booth (and How to Design Yours in Canva)
One Canva file. Five different print pieces. That’s how a Calgary author walked into the Calgary Expo with a booth that looked fully put together instead of thrown together the night before. Canva’s Magic Switch made her resize-and-export workflow for five different pieces seamless, and it works for any vendor building a market table or event booth from scratch.
