What Type of Paper Is Best for My Flyers?
Here’s what kind of stock Little Rock Printing recommends for different types of flyers:
- Short-term flyers: 60# Uncoated Text, 70# Uncoated Text, or 100# Uncoated Text
- Handouts or event posters: 80# Text
- Sell sheets and inserts: 100# Text
- Premium flyers: 8.4PT Cover or 11PT Cover
- Flyers to write on: 13PT Uncoated Cover or 15PT Cover
What’s the Difference Between Coated & Uncoated Flyers?
Coated paper has a smooth, glossy finish for sharp, vibrant printing. Uncoated paper has a natural, matte finish for a rustic look but doesn’t print black well.
If you’re not sure which one to choose for your flyers, we recommend ordering a proof of your design (see below) along with a free paper sample kit so you can compare it with our other options.
How Do I Order Proofs?
Ordering proofs from Little Rock is easy. Since we have no minimum order size, you can just place an order for a single flyer and make sure it’s what you want before ordering the rest!
Use the code “FREEPROOF” at checkout to get a free sample of what your design will look like. We also offer a free hard-copy proof at checkout for orders over $100.
For best results, order a free paper sample kit at the same time as your proof. This will allow you to compare the materials used for your print with other options we offer.
How Should I Send My Files?
For best results, send us a hi-res PDF with:
- ⅛” bleed
- Outlined fonts
- CMYK colors (use Spot PMS instead if trying to print Pantone colors)
If your design requires specific colors, we strongly recommend ordering a proof before printing in volume.
