Riparia Equipment Co

September 15, 2026

Crystal Lake and Cody are building Riparia Equipment Co., a new Calgary outdoor shop inspired by Alberta landscapes, culture, and everyday adventure. Before the physical store opens, Little Rock stickers are helping them introduce the brand at markets and community events while giving people a playful first look at what Riparia is all about.

“Riparia Equipment Co. is a new, independently owned outdoor retail store coming to Calgary this fall. My husband, Cody, and I are creating a shop focused on the many ways Albertans get outside, from mountain days and fishing trips to camping weekends, prairie roads, travel, and everyday adventures closer to home.

The idea for Riparia grew from my decade working in Alberta’s outdoor retail industry. When the store I worked for closed, it gave me the push to build something of our own. We wanted Riparia to feel distinctly connected to Alberta, not only through the products and brands we carry, but through the personality of the store itself.

That is where our printed stickers have become especially valuable.

We created a collection of Riparia stickers inspired by Alberta landscapes, outdoor culture, local humour, and the changing seasons. Designs like “Alberta: Bring Layers” and “Alberta Weekend Department” help tell our story in a way that feels approachable and memorable. They are not simply logo stickers. Each one gives people a small glimpse into the world we are building around the store.

Because our physical location is still under construction, we have been using the stickers at community events, markets, and early promotional opportunities to begin introducing Riparia before our doors officially open. They give people something tangible to take home, help start conversations about the business, and allow our brand to begin travelling through the community ahead of us.

Little Rock Printing has helped us turn those ideas into polished, professional pieces that still feel playful and personal. The print quality has allowed the detail in the artwork to come through beautifully, which is especially important for our more illustrated designs.

I’ve attached a few photos of the stickers in use. Thank you again for the opportunity to share our story, and for helping small businesses like ours bring their ideas into the real world.”
