After five years of wildlife photography, one photographer turned a friend’s greeting card request into an unexpected new business opportunity. Having already trusted Little Rock for calendars, our affordable pricing and ability to print small quantities across multiple designs made it easy to test the idea. The cards quickly sold to a local shop — which needed a restock just two weeks later — with more stores now on the horizon.

"I’ve been an avid wildlife photographer for about 5 years now, but aside from printing calendars for friends and family, sharing photos on social media, and covering my homes walls in canvas prints I hadn’t really done anything with it.  A friend who works at our local university was going through 30-40 greeting cards a year as part of her job and reached out to see if I’d ever considered having my photos made into greeting cards.  Since Little Rock Printing had done such a great job of my calendars over the years I checked out their greeting card options and was pleasantly surprised by the economical pricing.  It was an extra bonus that I could send in a number of files and have a few of each card printed instead of having to print a ton of the same thing. 

I ordered up a sample and was blown away by the quality.  My next order was 100 cards total with 20 different images.  120 cards arrived which was a great surprise.  Once my friend saw them she quickly scooped up 40 cards.  Thinking it would take me forever to go through the remaining cards I reached out to a local store to see if they would be interested in selling them.  They purchased a set and two weeks later have already had to restock.  It looks like I’ll be ordering more cards soon and I’m going to reach out to a few other local stores about carrying them.  "
