Artist Catriona and her mom, Sandra, run Arrow of Thyme together, turning Catriona’s artwork into products for markets and their retail space at Makers in Market Mall. Their Little Rock greeting cards quickly became a bestseller, while fast local turnaround lets them restock and change up their selection as the business grows.
"We are a small business, growing our brand, Arrow of Thyme. Catriona is the artist behind all of the art, self taught, she works in both digital and physical media. My name is Sandra, I am the manager, I do all the accounting and paperwork and I’m Catriona’s mom. Our dream is to one day have a physical store and sell stationary and books.
We did a lot of research looking for a local printer to make our product. I believe that the advantages of a good printer can’t be reproduced at home. I had narrowed the choices down to two and placed an order with Little Rock Printing to see how the quality was.
I did not order from anyone else because first, I was so impressed with how easy the website is to use and second, how nice the resulting print job was. Picking up the orders is also very easy to do, a quick message at the door and someone brings it out to me.
We started with a website at Godaddy where we listed journals and stickers from our first Little Rock order for sale. I made gift tags and greeting cards on a Cricut. We then began applying to local markets.
Our first market was the Edgemont Community Christmas Market in November 2025. When we were accepted, we put the art Catriona had made for the handmade greeting cards on greeting cards from Little Rock Printing. They were our best seller at the market and so far remain our best seller.
This year we began ordering novelty items from Vograce, like keychains and charms, with the same art we used for the journals and greeting cards. We most recently received canvas bags, shopping bags and pencil/cosmetic bags from Vograce.
