Nearly every job starts off in our Graphics/Pre-Press Department. Sometimes, it’s as simple as putting in a customer’s disk and outputting a file and other times it’s as complex as laying out a 50-page manual. Our Graphics Department is equipped with both Mac and PC platforms. Production & output of documents are completed with the following programs: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office. As a member of the Pre-press Team, you should feel comfortable using a variety of programs and have experience in pre-flighting, electronic trapping, scanning and troubleshooting. You must also maintain a high degree of accuracy. Members of the Graphics Department are also responsible for maintaining system performance as well as backing up files and systems.
Our Bindery Department puts the finishing touches on our projects. We have a full Bindery Department which includes folders, cutters, multibinders, collators, slitters, shrink tunnels, drills, power GBC punches, laminators, numbering units, etc. As a member of the Bindery Team, you should be proficient with most of our equipment and be capable of learning any new equipment we add. You must have an impeccable sense for detail and be able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
