Posters, Poster Boards, & Art Prints: What’s the Difference?
We offer high-quality printing for all posters, poster boards, and art prints. However, each of these products is better for some applications than others:
- Posters are ideal for blowing up photographs and are typically meant to be mounted indoors
- Poster Boards are excellent for displaying text and graphic design work, and are commonly used for indoor or outdoor signage
- Art Prints are best for capturing the texture and vibrant colors of rich, complex images, and are best for more sensitive indoor environments
Can I Put Multiple Poster Designs in the Same Order?
Yes! As long as you make sure your designs:
- Are the same size
- Are ordered at the same time
To place multiple poster designs in the same order, choose the total number of posters for all orders above when placing your order online. Then, send all design files to [email protected] and specify the breakdown for each (for example, 4 designs with 250 copies each).
How Should I Send My Files?
For best results, send us a hi-res PDF with:
- ⅛” bleed
- Outlined fonts
- CMYK colors (use Spot PMS instead if trying to print Pantone colors)
- Most software programs have a specific export setting called PRINT PDF, or PRESS QUALITY PDF. Download this option for best results.
If your design requires specific colors, we strongly recommend ordering a proof before printing in volume.
How to use Canva to determine the Size and Scale of your Poster?

A customer recently asked us how big they could print a poster, and I will demonstrate the process using Canva. We will start with a guess size of 24 by 36 inches and adjust accordingly. By the end of the video, you will know how to accurately determine the size of a printable file.
